The Gold Coast Shuttle was operated for many years by Surfside Buslines. The distinctive orange buses linked hotels, attractions and the airport along the Gold Coast strip. In 2017 Melbourne based Skybus acquired the service and transferred a number of their Optare Solo SR midibuses to the operation and in 2018 added a number of new MCV bodied MAN buses.
