Back in August 2002 this Volvo B10M was still numbered in the Peninsula system as 29 (4429AO). The bus was seen as the sun set at Frankston Station. The Grenda Corporation acquired Peninsula way back in 1958 and the company adopted this blue version of the Grenda stripey normally applied in red on the main fleet and green in Moorabbin Transit. Unsurprisingly bodywork is by Volgren, originally a joint venture between Grenda and Volvo. |

Sister vehicle 19 (4419AO) is seen at the same place on the same day Both buses were later renumbered by the convenient addition of 400 to their fleet numbers, which still neatly matched their regos.
