An exclusive visit to the Tempe Museum in August 1989 enabled this shot featuring four preserved Sydney half cab deckers, two Titans and two Regents. The AEC Regent III nearest the camera is Commonwealth Engineering bodied 995 (MO995) built in 1948. The bus no longer appears in the Museum collection. |

This 1937 Waddington bodied Leyland Titan TD5 was awaiting restoration in 2003 and was still waiting in 2018. Alongside is the preserved Mercedes O305 1923 (MO1923).

Also on display was this 1947 Commonwealth Engineering bodied AEC Regent III, 792. Alongside is an unidentifiable Leyland Titan and the Museum's London Transport AEC Routemaster, RM1708, is just poking its nose in to the picture.

A trio of doubledeckers was lined up outside Tempe Museum with the blue AEC Regent III readily identified as Clyde Engineering bodied 2643 (MO2643) of 1953. The Titan was giving visitors free rides to Newtown and back.

Here is the view from the top deck of the Titan on its way through Newtown.
