The bus is seen again in the CBD with on eof the new Bustech bodied Scanias on the 555 CBD Loop service which was discontinued when work started on the George Street tram, leaving many commuters stranded the length of the CBD, with no easy way to get from Circular Quay to the Central Railway Station and points in between.

In November 2016 2643 was on display in Leichhardt Museum alongside 1948 Clyde bodied Leyland Titan OPD2 2186 (MO2186). The silver and red bus in the background is Adelaide's Daimler CVG6 112.

Seen in Tempe in December 2003 was 1940 Waddington bodied AEC Regent III 694 (MO1694) presented in wartime camouflage livery with covered wondows, masked headlights and white edged bumpers part of its stealth image.

At the new Leichhardt Museum in November 2016 694 was displayed well with the Ford FCB Austerity 1756 and other wartime artefacts.
