 Coming off the Harbour Bridge on New Year's Day 2016 is Custom CB60 Evo II bodied Volvo B12BLEA 2110 (2110ST) from the initial experimental Metrobus fleet.

 Volvo B12BLEA 1668 (MO1668) was selected from the Custom CB60 delivery of 2005 and modified for the initial Metrobus trial, most noticeably with its "box top". The bus is seen in the city on the M52 to Parramatta in January 2015.

 Evo II 2111 (2111ST) is sen on the M20 a year later.

 Seen before Christmas in 2017 is 2110 on the M30 again. The original large Metrobus branding can be seen ghosting behind the TfNSW bouncing tennis ball logo on the front dash. Over that Christmas increasingly large numbers of new TfNSW blue liveried buses were seen on Metrobus routes, not least the Transdev Bustech CDi deckers delivered for use on the M92. Meanwhile red Metrobuses were popping up on non Metrobus routes. Sloppy scheduling or was the red bus about to become history and the M routes dispapearing into the mix of L, X and E prefixed routes.

 Another common sight over that summer across the city is State Transit buses runnng out of service. Here modified CB60 bodied 1701 (MO1701) overtakes Citaro bodied Mercedes O405NH 1127 (MO1127).
