After five years working on mining contracts with Buslink in the Northern Territories as their 107 (MO3515) this Mercedes OH1830 was bought by Ventura in 2018 and numbered 1340 (BS04DM) and given the window fleet insignia. The coach is seen on the same day on rail replacement work, but is seen on St Kilda Road about to approach the Arts Precinct terminus, with the scale of rail replacement operations the Federation Square yard on its own is not sufficient.

New in 2012 B7R 698 (9165AO) was one of many coaches from a multitude of operators across the state bringing children to an event at the Shrine of Remembrance in April 2019.

Another mining refugee, this time from the Chevron Gorgon Project at Barrow Island in WA where it was new in 2013. The bus was one of four acquired from Chevron around 2017. Not a Volvo B7R and not a Scania or Mercedes either but the quartet are Iveco Deltas. The bus, 1325 (BS00PW), is seen at Dandenong depot in January 2019 with Volgren CR221L bodied Mercedes O405NH 529 (4529AO) still in the Grenda colours it had worn since new in 2002.
