Despite the size of its fleet, Westbus did not use fleet numbers. However using the state 'MO' bus registration series meant each vehicle had a unique number in its rego. So this is 8772, one of a large batch of Mercedes 812D with Custom Coaches 26 seat bodywork, very much in line with UK mini practice. It is believed though that the batch of Mercedes chassis was built at the company's Brazilian plant.

Another 812D, as with the bus above, it is seen in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta, once a mecca for Sydney's independent operators.

A nearside view of a Parramatta Westmead Shuttle - it has just emerged from under the railway bridge in the centre of Paramatta.

As can be seen some of the Mercedes minibuses are lettered for the Parramatta Westmead Shuttle. Note the treatment of the offside emergency exit, a common way of dealing with this feature on Australian buses.
