In early 2007 Yarra Trams had this four section Siemens Combino tram on test.

 Given the temporary number C008 the trams was mainly used on the 16 to Kew from the University via St Kilda, where it is seen here on Fitzroy Street. |
 The tram was destined for service in Portugal, but delays to the light rail scheme there for which it was built provided the opportunity for an Australian demonstration. New tram orders were eventually placed for delivery in 2012, but with Bombardier. |
