 An occasion when everyone was hoping that Yarra Trams International tram recovery vehicle, PVN867, would not be needed. It is outside the front of Flinder Station on the occasion of Her Majesty's visit to Melbourne on October 26th 2011. The Queen was due to travel on the specially prepared Royal Tram, Z3 158. The tram was primarily in a red livery, which would no doubt have matched the faces of the Yarra Trams staff if 158 had failed and PVN867 had to be used to push the tram out of the way! However all went according to plan as can be seen in our pictures of the Royal Tram.

 Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so it is said. Though not owned by Yarra Trams, this watercraft is dubbed the Tramboat and is seen on a cruise round the docks at Port Melbourne.
