Red Bus moved to lighter weight low floor buses in 1997 with ten Designline bodied Dennis Dart SLF, then in 1998 24 similarly bodied MAN 10.160 models followed, the last two arriving in 1999. Seen in the city in April 2005 is 333 (XC6960) which passed to Uzabus as their 558. |

Working the 19 to Spreydon in April 2005 was 11.160 343 (YK8405), another of the ten delivered in 1999. It went on to see service with Cunningham Passenger Services of Westport. |

Delivered as a one off in 2000 was this shorter 11.230, 205 (ZO1882) whose Designline body only seated 29. Its subsequent fate is unknown. |
