Before entering service on September 5th 2005 the three buses were stored. VDL SB120 3703 is seen in the temporary open air bus park adjacent to Wycombe Bus Station which was used prior to Arriva's new out of town depot opening. The new depot was needed for much the same reason as the Park & Ride service: Major redevlopment in the town centre had taken away a huge car park and the old Thames Valley depot and Bus Station currently used by Arriva went too. The 05 registration - YJ05PJW - was voided in favour of KE55CKP. |
Two of the P&R buses wait at the Park & Ride terminus at Cressex in May 2009. The cabin alongside is only rivalled by the facilities at the Bus Station as far as other bus stops in the area go. In 2016 the Park & Ride was re-located to a new facility closer to the M40, adjacent to a new Sports Centre and a new Waitrose, at the time the largest Waitrose in the country, as well as a new Coachway facility for passing National Express services. The P&R service as also passed to Carousel. |
