 This September 2014 view of 3701 in the same location might be thought to be a bus traversing the Park & Ride route in the opposite direction and headig for the Station. However the PR1 service does a one way loop around the town, taking its layover at the Park & Ride site terminus. Thus 3701 is on one of Wycombe's other routes, the 1, 31 or 33. Picture ref A5166 |

 More confusing for passengers would have been this occasion on April 1st 2011 when 3701 was seen in Marlow on the Reading - Wycombe service. Though it was April Fool's Day it was not the only occasion that green buses prominently labelled for Park & Ride (in Wycombe) turned up in Reading. As these pages show, Wycombe depot is not the best at allocating route branded to the right route.

 Eventually Arriva gave in and painted the Park & Ride buses in standard fleet livery as seen on 3703 in July 2014. The trio were still regular performers on PR1 and retained internal adverts and window signage, nonetheless here the bus has strayed on to the 33. It is outside Pizza Hut in Castle Street where the bus stop all too often competes with Pizza Hut delivery cars thinking the stop was put there for them and not the buses.
