In stark contrast to the rest of the Arriva-liveried fleet, is former Colchester Borough Transport ECW bodied Leyland Atlantean, 80 (YNO80S), which ended its days as a staff rest room at Watford Junction Station.

Olympian 5823 (D823UTF) was a late recipient of Arriva livery, and a short lived exponent. Seen shortly before withdrawal in 2002 in Marlow on school service 617. The coach seated ECW Olympian was new to Bee Line for Reading - London express services. |
A source of secondhand ECW bodied Olympians was West Riding. A number saw off the last of the Atlanteans working in High Wycombe. This one is seen on layover in Wycombe Bus Station.

Leyland Olympian 5122 (G292UMJ) was new to London Country North West as LR92, it became 5122 when the LCNW fleet was merged with Luton & District to form The Shires. It was part of a batch of all Leyland Olympians for the London Transport tendered service 142 from Watford to Brents Cross. With the service in the hands of red low floor DAFs the Olympians were dispersed around the fleet with 5122 seen here in service on the 372 from Wycombe to Chesham in October 2003. |
Sister vehicle 5111 (G281UMJ) is seen in service on the 142 in Watford. The bus is freshly painted in Arriva livery. Several of the batch were at that stage in Shires blue and yellow, though some remained in LCNW green and grey.
