London Country North West Olympians were temporarily displaced from duties with Arriva the Shires by dual door ECW bodied Olympians rendered surplus from the Arriva fleets in the capital. Former L211 (D211FYM) is seen with former L31 (C31CHM) and LCNW LR92 (5122) in the temporary parking area outside Wycombe Bus Station during initial town centre reconstruction in October 2005. Though the London buses have no blinds fitted, a piece of paper in the window shows D211 has been at work on town service 326. |
Former L36, now 5851 (C36CHM) and converted to single door, is seen in October 2005 leaving Wycombe Bus Station with a blind capable of showing the Lane End destination if nothing else.
Former L168 (D168FYM) - now 5855 - with a full set of blinds, albeit not used, in Wycombe in May 2004 on a school run down Marlow Hill.
Either the blind has jammed on this view of L36/Arriva the Shires 5851 (C36CHM) or the driver has got ahead of himself. The bus is passing Wycombe Town Hall on December 23rd 2005, which is not the route to Great Missenden.
