A good load, albeit of school children, is seen on 2138 (N918ETM) seen leaving Aylesbury Bus Station in May 2003. The Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes 709D has since been withdrawn. |
Caught out of the window of a decker on an adjacent stand is 2115 (N470EHA) an 811 series Mercedes with Alexander ALX100 coachwork. The bus was a short term visitor to Wycombe and passed to the associated MK Metro operation, having been new to Midland Fox. |
Minibuses took on a very different aspect, starting in Milton Keynes in 2013 when a fleet of all electric Wright Streetlites took to the city streets. The deployment was experimental and many operational problems ahve been resolved. Streetlite 5005 (KP63TDV) is seen in June 2014 in Stantonbury sporting the Arriva livery given to environmemntally friendly buses. Picture ref A3502 |
