Pulling into Aylebury's Market Square is one of a new batch of East Lancs European bodied Scania L113CRL buses, route branded for the 500 service between Aylesbury and Watford. The route is the immediate successor to London Transport's 301, which used to be worked from Hemel Hempstead depot. United Counties' Aylesbury operations, which formed part of Luton & District (the Shires) took over responsibility for the route.
