Former London Transport Leyland National 2, 3037 (GUW457W), was acquired shortly after Luton & District was acquired by British Bus to help modernise the fleet. Julian Peddle was called in to advise the company at the time and it is believed he was instrumental in the former capital vehicle acquisitions, along with former National Welsh Olympians. National 2 3037 is seen in Dunstable Square. |
National 2 3043 (GUW475W) is seen in Wycombe Bus Station in company with a fellow ex London Transport Leyland National 2 transferred to Wycombe Bus from the Go-Ahead London fleets.
