Former Arriva London L16 (C816BYY) passed to Arriva the Shires as their 5836 and then on to On-A-Mission of Milton Keynes. The ill-fated operation had a fleet of second hand, third hand or more deckers for Buckinghamshire school contracts in the Aylesbury area. Reliability was poor and the company soon went out of business. The "straight out of service" appearance of 5836 was typical of the fleet. The bus is followed by one of Motts Travel's ex Shearings Alexander bodied Leyland Tigers, E29UNE. |

Originally 639 (F639LMJ) from the first batch of doubledeckers new to the fledgling Luton & District the bus ultimately became Arriva the Shires 5089. It got passed around in its later years and after a spell in Southend ended up with TGM Stansted who entered it in SHOWBUS 2010. As TGM 239 it passed with sister bus 240 (F640LMJ) to Panther Travel. |
  |
Two years later F640LMJ still in TGM livery appeared at SHOWBUS 2012 in Panther Travel's ownership. The bus represented 1989 in the cavalcade from Royston of buses representing each year of Her Majesty's reign as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. |

By 2014 former Arriva 5090 (F640LMJ) had been transformed with this striking version of Panther Travel livery. It is seen arriving at SHOWBUS 2014 with an appropriate destination display and an appropriate new registration: BIG7758.
