The Plaxton Volvo combination gained a hold at Motts for a while. For the 2003 season, for the first time TWO new coaches were acquired. Both were high specification Volvo B12B with Plaxton Panther coachwork. The Plaxton coachwork was chosen for its ability to successfully fit the seats with integral three point lap diagonal seatbelts specified by Motts. Here is GT03MTT returned from a private hire to London in the Stoke Mandeville yard. Its twin is the slower GB03MTT :-)

Delivered in 2004, MT04MTT is another Panther/B12B seen on Epsom Downs for the Derby in 2010.

Seen in the yard when newly delivered in 2009 was the last of the Panther/B12B combos, MT09MTT.

The last Panther gained status as the vehicle used on Channel 4 with the enigmatic guide, Brendan, who is not a Motts employee, though the drivers used were. The coach is seen in November 2013 nose into the garage, deliberatly out of view. The show producers had the coach on standby whilst they decided whether or not to make another series. The coach had been extensively modified inside with revised seating and cameras everywhere for the ever changing small party of fourteen tourists exploring Europe with Brendan as their guide. The coaches used were always bereft of Motts branding - the only give away was the MT registration.
