Ever innovative Red Rover introduced a quick Market Day service between Aylesbury and Bicester, the 516. The regular 16 meandered through several villages to reach Bicester from Aylesbury, but the 516 went straight up the A41, diverting off to the left to offer the villages of Ambroseden and Arncott a link to Bicester. Here is 133 (GAU725L), Nottingham 725, stopping in what is believed to be Upper Arncott on the initial run and boarding the first passeneger to use the service from the village.

On a simple short run from Aylesbury on route 1 to Waddesdon. The journey used to take 15 minutes each way - despite considerable new development at the Aylesbury end, albeit assisted by some inbound bus lanes journeys are still timed at 15 minutes, with some at 18.
