The initial batch of 30 feet long Routemasters were not designated RML, but ER for extended Routemaster. RML3 had gained the original 'RML' tage for being 6 inches longer than RM1 and RM2. Eventually things were rationalised when the 1965 RMLs came along. London United has chosen to paint this early RML in a mock vintage livery and redesignated it ER880. It is seen with RM765 at EFE SHOWBUS International 2001. |
