The bus was new prior to Stagecoach ownership of the fleet.

Harking back to a different era is 617 (SVK617G) a Newcastle Corporation Alexander bodied Leyland
Atlantean seen in the demonstration park at the 1968 Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court.
