With the departure of Routemasters and Leyland Titans from London service, Stagecoach East
London is taking special care of their first low floor Dennis Trident TA1 (S801BWC) with
the familiar Alexander ALX400 body. TA1, now 17001, is seen leaving SHOWBUS.

Leaving with PMT Atlantean L766 is local Stagecoach Cambridge Trident 18057 (AE53TZJ) with, for
Satgecoach, the more unusual Plaxton President body, complete with the new Cambridge network
Citi branding.

The batch of Red & White Volvo B10Ms of which this was 779 (R779CDW), have been regular Showbus
visitors since 1997 when they were new. 779 is now in the new livery with Stagecoach
Express branding for the valley routes into Cardiff. A former East Kent AEC Reliance is
following it out of the rally site.

A very efficient member of the Cambridgeshire Constabularly controlled vehicles leaving the
event. As soon as the road was clear he waved as many buses out as possible until the source
dried up, then awaited the next opportunity. Originally Viscount 592 (S592BCE), a
Stagecoach standard Alexander R type bodied Olympian, but with coach seating, heads back to
Peterborough.

The Cambridge based vehicle won the prize for the best 2004 vehicle at the show. The two other
buses of the batch are at Bath and York and several similar vehicles are at work in Spain and Italy.
