Representing 1972 was Woottens ex Colchester Bristol RELL/ECW in a curious livery reminiscent of Swindon's. The bus was offered for sale after SHOWBUS.

West Yorkshire PTE 5504 was one of five Roe coach seated bodied Leyland Olympians delivered in 1984 in this special cream and tan livery and branded as Metrocoach. This was the newly restored vehicle's SHOWBUS debut.

Woottens conveniently represented 1988 with their ex Oxford Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian, which had been kept in Oxford colours but recently presented in Tiger Line colours for a bus service between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough.

Representing 1989 and the ensuing decade in front of the American Air Museum was a Tiger of a different line, namely the chassis assembly line for the popular Leyland Tiger model. Ulsterbus 1250 (OXI1250) has bodywork by Alexander's now closed Belfast plant.
