The second Autocar bus in the display was from 2004 and is an example of the ever popular Optare Solo.

 The only duplication in the line up was another Solo for a Warwickshire County Links operation contracted to A-line. The doubling up was a consequence of last minute changes of entries.

Last in the American Air Museum decades line up was Black Diamond 827 (BX09SNY). The Plaxton Centro bodied Volvo B7RLE for Black Country services represented 2009 with rally number 09.

 Taking pride of place for 2009 was one of the new fleet of Van Hool Astromegas for the Oxford Tube. Like the Neoplan Skyliner a few years back, it carried off awards at SHOWBUS. The vehicle was extemely popular with photographers and the public at large.
