One of a batch of three Portsmouth Aviation bodied rear entrance 32 seat coaches on Bristol L6B chassis delivered in 1950 was 297 (GAM216). Unlike similar vehicles delivered to Hants & Dorset, these escaped rebodying in later life as full front buses. This L6B survived into preservation and is seen here on display at Showbus 80 at Thorpe Park. |
