An unidentified NBC poppy red VR on the 185 Weymouth-Salisbury service at the Jubilee Clock terminus in Weymouth. A Smiths' ex Western National RELL passes by - still in WN colours - on the highly competitive Portland service. Coming up behind is a Southern National Ford Transit. |
Originally Hants & Dorset, 3422 (ELJ214V) was painted in a blue version of the current W&D livery to celebrate the centenary of the long gone Poole Trams. It is seen passing Poole Hospital, hence the accompanying ambulance.

One could be mistaken for thinking these two VRs, seen at Southsea, were from the same fleet, but on the left is Wilts & Dorset VRTSL6G 4334 (JJT446N) and on the right an unusal Alder Valley VR: former Eastern Scottish VRTLL6G AA296 (LFS296F) converted to open top for Thames Valley riverside services and now preserved. |
Sister vehicle 3325 (JJT437N) is seen arriving in the picturesque grounds on Woburn Abbey for SHOWBUS international 2015.

Less attractive surrounds greeted VRTSL3 3448 (KRU848W) arriving at Duxford for SHOWBUS international three years earlier.
