Gone, but certainly not forgotten, Leeds operator Black Prince was a keen Ailsa operator and former 71 was painted into their livery. The bus appeared at SHOWBUS international 2016 in Black Prince colours as part of a memorable Ailsa display of six buses. At the far end, travelling all the way from Scotland was Tayside 273 (WTS273T), then from Kent Maidstone & District 5385 (LKP385P). On the other side of former Derby 71 was London Buses V1 (A101SUU), which had once operated for Black Prince and then the two preserved West Midlands PTE Ailsas, 4738 (JOV738P) and 4527 (TOE527N).
