The rear ends of the MAN coaches lost the plain red treatment to sport very attractive skyline pictures of Oxford and London. Here two coaches are waiting to leave Gloucester Green for the capital city.

December 2002 and Christmas decorations adorn St Aldates as Tube 52 (T52BBW) leaves the city for London. Red Rose's Optare Solo, MX03EJY, prepares to leave its terminus for High Wycombe.
The MAN Tubes were displaced by a fleet of Neoplan Skyliners on to Megabus duties. MAN 50047 (T47BBW) is one of three that returned in the early summer of 2005 to work Tube duties whilst the Neoplan fleet was sent away for modifications. The coach is seen at the Headington roundabout A40/Ring Road junction in Oxford. Bringing up the rear is a Shires 1989 Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian, 5097 (G647UPP), delivered new to Luton & District as 647, on the 280 to Aylesbury. Despite it being a Sunday apparently none of the Northern Counties Palatine 2 route branded Olympians seemed to be available.
