 New in the grey Connector livery, Wright Streetdeck bodied Volvo B5TL 621 (BN69XRO) was treated to this bold two tone green and blue livery for a new service linking Harwell with Oxford and Newbury with the Didcot establishment. It has more discreet Connector branding. It is seen at Brunel University in June 2023 for the SHOWBUSflyby road event between RAF High Wycombe and the University, celebrating fifty years of SHOWBUS, the event having started at Brunel in January 1973. Originally intended for the week before the September 2022 SHOWBUS5O, the SHOWBUSflyby was postponed as it would have fallen on the eve of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral. The bus arrived with a dedicated SHOWBUSflyby destination display and there are several pictures of it here with its other programmed displays, but sadly the camera could not cope with the refresh frequency of the display.  Carousel's 102 service linking High Wycombe with Heathrow became a 24 hour operation in summer 2023. The night journey's were not operated by the Wycombe depot but from Oxford and a regular working from Wallingford depot using a Harwell branded bus. Here 621 is displaying its 102 blind and will probably be regularly visiting Uxbridge on the night time 102. The buses run out of service beyond Wycombe.
