Alongside a Stagecoach East Kent Alexander bodied Olympian 297 (R297HCD) at SHOWBUS international 2001, is seemingly identical United Couties 600 (F110NES). It is in fact one of the three "Megadekkas" bought in the early days by Stagecoach and put to service with Cumberland. Olympian 600, however, found its way to United Counties via East Midlands. The registration links to the fact that the bus seats 110. |
Here 600 is sandwiched between the East Kent Volvo Olympian 297 and an identical machine from Stagecoach South, 261 (P261WPN), with blinds set for SWT rail replacement work. |
United Counties Olympian 566 (R566DRP) freshly painted in the new Stagecoach livery was seen at Cobham in April 2002. It looks like they ran out of blue fleetnames for the front dash. |
Also at Cobham was ECW boded Bristol VRTSL3 849 (OVV849R), the only VR nationally to be painted in the new corporate colours. It has been used around the country on group promotional work. |
