As noted earlier this year, Driver Bus Lines sold its route bus network to CDC-Delgro and the routes have been absorbed into their Eastrans operation in Melbourne. A start has been made on reliverying the buses and this Denning low floor, 13 (1013AO), has a simplified version of the normal Eastrans livery. Perhaps surprisingly in view of new deliveries to the other CDC-Delgro Melbourne operator Westrans, the buses have not received the new PTV livery trying to be introduced for all buses in the state. Driver operated - and still does - a number of Denning built buses, but these introduce a new type to the CDC-Delgro empire worldwide. The bus was seen this Thursday in Melbourne's Chapel Street on charter, with a second Denning just visible in the heavy traffic behind.
