When Melbourne's Met was privatised it was split in two. National Express' half became the National Bus Company and was later sold to Ventura. The other half was bought jointly by Dysons and the Reservoir Bus Company. The company was branded Melbourne Bus Link with depots in Sandringham in the east and Footscray in the west. In 2013 the company ceased to operate when contracts were assigned to Transdev in tender renewal. Melbourne Bus Link 310 (0310AO) is an ex Met bus, a typical MAN SL200 with Ansair bodywork, since sold to Hendo's Bus Service in Ayr, Queensland. It is seen here heading for Sunshine Park in April 2004. Obviously a fast machine able to travel at a fair lick as the name on the front panel suggests! |

Sister vehicle 316 (0316AO) is seen out of service in Flinders Street three years later. It was sold to Torrens Transit in South Australia. |

MAN 319 (0319AO) is seen in service in April 2004 and was sold to Cavbus (Logan Coaches) in Queensland. |
