This Duncan & Fraser car was built for the Bendigo System, the first of nine such cars, 37-45, delivered in 1914. It no longer appears to be listed in the collection. A 1924 Brill car, 11, arrived on loan from Bendigo Tram Museum the following year, 2003, so it might have been an exchange. |

In sharp contrast to the bright blue, yellow and white buses of today's Brisbane Transport buses, the city's trams looked like battleships. The 1935 drop-centre tram, 295, was built by Brisbane Council. It joined the Sydney Museum Collection in 1968. |
