 Seen at Fitzroy North in April 2019 this 1996 Austral Pacific Orana bodied Volvo B10L 805 (BS04FY) is another bus acquired for driver training. It was bought from Good Az Gold in NSW where it was TV8114, but was new to Brisbane Transport as 543 (543DOS).

 Not in PTV livery but symptomatic of the problems Transdev had maintaining buses, seen at Doncaster Westfield in April 2017 is Toyota Coaster 006 (8220AO) which had to be pressed into service on the Manningham Circular, despite seven Optare Solos having been delivered by then. The Coaster had come with the Melbourne Bus Link fleet.

 A noticeable difference under Transdev ownership was the increase in grafitti on the buses as this interior shot of 8015 (8064AO) in December 2018 shows, probably symptomatic of the maintenance issues they suffered. The bus is a SmartBus (sic) liveried Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B7RLE ex East-West.
