Bombardier 6004 appeared in the first days of 2014. The tram was out late at night on test and appeared at the St Kilda terminus of route 112, usually the preserve of Class A and B trams.

The tram then made the unusual manoeuvre of making a left turn into Fitzroy Street. The only trams regularly using this turn - in the opposite direction - are the Restaurant cars on their dining tours of the city.

The tram continues its turn.

Bombardier 6004 rounds the junction opposite Parliament for the journey down Bourke Street and on to St Kilda on a sunny day at the end of March 2014.

In February the tram was seen turning on to the reserve track for its journey from Southbank to St Kilda.
