A year later 6009 is seen again off route by Carlton Gardens. It is the city's annual White Night with frequent tram services all through the night bringing the huge crowds into the city to view the spectacle. Bourke Street is closed with the huge crowds jamming Spencer Street and the 96 is diverted west up Lygon Street.

Back in February 2015 the contoversial scheme to pedestrianise the far end of Acland Street and block access to Barkly Street had yet to be implimented so 6012 is seen here at the end of the 96 where the up and down lines merge into one. The next tram then has to wait in Acland Street until the the previous one has vacated the terminal. This was a particular hassle when the trio of restaurant cars turned up, though the single track line was capable of holding all three.
