Servicio de Transportes Electricos operated a fleet of ageing trolleybuses on eight routes spanning over 200km in Mexico City back in June 2018. This in one of the newest machines at the time, 9748, one of 200 locally built MASA (Mexicana de Autobuses, S.A.) with Mitsubishi Fuso running gear delivered between 1997 and 1999. The bus is seen at the small terminus in Taxquena adjacent to the southern coach terminal after getting to the end of a twenty kilometre plus route from the Vallejo area north of the city centre where the northern coach terminal is located. Around eighteen months later the first of forty new blue liveried Yutong trolleys arrived to take over the route.
