Here 4209 has escaped the Taxquena terminus and swings wide to get round one of the many purple CDMX branded Volkswagen VRT minibuses, 0010146. Though there are loads of minibuses in Mexico, fleetnumbers probably do not warrant seven digits.

A rear view of 1981 build, 4246, one of forty delivered that year. The only older trolleys in the fleet dated from 1975 and were acquired secondhand from Edmonton in Canada. Four were later fitted with ramps, making them the only low floor access trolleys in the city until the new Yutongs arrived.

Back in the city centre 4732, one of the first generation MASA-Mitsubishi models approaches Hidalgo Metro on route 5, like 4727 earlier, its blind box has been obliterated. In contrast the new Yutongs have digital displays.
