In 2006 Carousel Buses of High Wycombe took the opportunity to modernise its doubledeck fleet with the purchase of some of the first Dennis Tridents to appear on the secondhand market. They acquired some of the ex Metrobus East Lancs bodied examples ousted from service in London by new Scania deckers. Dennis Trident T403SMV, former Metrobus 403, first saw service with Carousel in its original owners blue and yellow colours. It is seen here in Marlow in June 2006.

Ex Metrobus 402 (T402SMV) is seen climbing the hill from Marlow on a school run in the summer of its first year. Though painted in Carousel livery, it was without decals.

Two of the Tridents are seen together in the new Wycombe Bus Station in June 2007, still bereft of indentification.

Former 403 again, now painted in Carousel's two tone red seen in Wycombe's new Bus Station in February 2007. The Tridents were relatively short lived visitors to the fleet being ousted by London General Volvo B7TLs, also with East Lancs bodies.
