Large numbers of Polish built Scania Omni series buses are entering service with Go-Ahead's southern subsidiaries. Southern Vectis 1111 (HW58ASX) is a Scania N270UD seen arriving at SHOWBUS with one of the most impressive special destination suplies for the event.

Both of the above Go-Ahead deckers can be seen in this line up together with a Scania Omnidekka for Metrobus, which won the prize for the best Go-Ahead bus, Tourist Coaches's new Olympus coach bodied Scania N270UD, Brighton & Hove's red and yellow Volvo B10BLE with Wright bodywork used now as a driver trainer.

A new bus on the rally scene was this beautifully restored Optare Delta in the now defunct colours of Northumbria, since swallowed into Arriva. 251 (G251SRG) has been restored for John Fickling, a former major shareholder in Northumbria Buses and Kentish Bus and now non executive chairman of the enlarged Optare group.
