 A line up of Bristol VRs at SHOWBUS 2005 adjacent to Concorde was headed by former Eastern National 3219 (VTH941T), originally South Wales 941, former Eastern Counties VR190 (VPW85S) ordered by Waveney District Council for its then Lowestoft fleet and displayed in Konect blue, two NBC red VRs for Trent (837) and the associated Midland General fleet, 801 (LRA801P) and finally former Alder Valley 981 (CJH121V) then with Flagfinders of Braintree. |

 Forward to 2009 and 837 poses alongside Eastern National VRTSL3 3107 (UAR597W). A nice pairing of the two prime former NBC bus liveries. |

 Two years on and a similar pairing at SHOWBUS again, but this time the green VR is from the opposite side of the country in the shape of Western National VRTSL3 1106 (SFJ106R). |

 Still presented in excellent condition after many years of rallying and attendance at SHOWBUS, 837 is seen arriving at the 2012 event. |
