New as an ECW bodied Leyland Atlantean 571 (ONN571P) was rebodied by Willowbrook just over a year after it was new, the ECW body was destroyed in the infamous Derby depot fire. Two identical buses (573 and 577) were destroyed before even entering service. A true survivor 571 has gained a further lease of life in preservation, seen here threading its way through other entrants in the display arena at Donington in September 2016.

This comparable age open top bus has an ECW body. It was however new to Northern General as 3299 (MPT299P) passing to Trent for use as their treelopper A15 (YRC194). It had been re-registered ORC545P when seen at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre at Ruddington in June 2016.
