Seen at Tempe in 1989 is former London Transport RT3708 (NLE815). The bus was new with a Weymann body and worked from Enfield depot for three years after which it was given a different, green Weymann body and moved around the country area until 1965 - having had a third Weymann body on overhaul in 1961. It received its current red Park Royal body in 1965 and was withdrawn in 1977 ending up with RT dealer, Ted Brakell who exported it to Rebel Air Tours in Australia in 1985. It had just been acquired by the Museum when seen. An old Bedford TK truck is parked alongside.

Another UK bus buried in a corner of the Tempe Museum in Sydney was this lowbridge UK Leyland Atlantean donated to the Museum in 1990. If you know the UK origins of the bus please let us know as we are unable to find this information. We guess it may be from PMT, Maidstone & District or Trent.
