Ipswich Buses Leyland Atlantean ECW 74
Seen around 1980 in Ipswich was Leyland Atlantean 74 (LDX74G), one of four built (73-76) with bodies from the nearby ECW factory at Lowestoft. More ECW bodied buses joined the fleet in 1980 in the shape of five dual door Bristol RELL6G singledeckers from Leicester City. They kept their fleetnumbers: 118-122 (TRY118-122H). All four Atlanteans went on to see further municipal service in Eastbourne, 75 and 76 losing their roofs for open top sea front services and trips to Beachy Head.

Ipswich Buses Dennis Trident East Lancs Lolyne 63
Arriving for SHOWBUS international 2010 was a recent acquisition from Blue Triangle, formerly their DL914 (PO51UMK) and now Ipswich's 63. The East Lancs Lolyne bodied Dennis Trident merging neatly into the portion of the fleet with East Lancs bodies. The bus was anothe rexample of prudent secondhand acquisitions alongside new purchases.
