In house advertising again on ECW bodied Bristol VRTSL6G 432 last seen advertising the Carfax Travel Bureau on the Showbus 78 Road Run. Here it is urging folk to "save it" and make use of the 77 comfortable seats on the bus which is rounding Market Square on Aylesbury's 262 town service, which would probably never have seen half that number of passengers.

Another single door VRTSL3, 445 (PJO445P), seen in Buckingham Street, Aylesbury at the end of a 280 run from Oxford. Estate agents Buckell and Ballard sponsored the bus in Silver Jubilee livery in 1977.

A second rear view of VRTSL3 445 was seen later when restored to full NBC livery in Oxford city centre, but of more interest is the Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline acquired from Midland Red, 916 (5282HA) new in 1963 as 5282. It was one of several buses transferred from the neighbouring NBC company.

Prior to the influx of dual door Bristols for the city services earlier deliveries were of Daimler Fleetlins with Northern Counties and Alexander dual door bodies. This is one of the latter, a batch of twenty, 397-416 (TFC397-416K) heading for Kidlington in the early evening.
