DMS Thorpe Park SHOWBUS 80
Two colourful photos from the 1980 DMS display at SHOWBUS 80 in the newly opened Thorpe Park. Nearest the camera we have Hedingham's L97 (MLK415L) former Park Royal bodied DMS415. Next is a mobile exhibition unit for Ciba-Geigy Agricultural MCW bodied DMS1307 (MLH307L). Two Oxford DMS follow, in full NBC fleet livery is 998 (MLH371L), which was believed to be painted in Park & Ride livery like the second unidentified DMS alongside. Interestingly 998 saw further service as Southend 305 and, later renubered 301. The next all London DMS is actually owned by Ensignbus. Other examples in the line up include buses from Charlton-on-Otmoor Services, Stevensons of Uttoxeter, Derby, London Country and Windsorian.

DMS Thorpe Park SHOWBUS 80
In the rear views Ensignbus MCW bodied DMS1414 (MLH414L) has its boot up to show off its immaculate engine compartment and fulfilling its role as a demonstrator. It was converted to open top in 1989 and exported the following year to the Chicago Motor Coach Company.
